Jacksonville to Naples On The Backroads

This is a long day, a trip From Fernandina Beach to Naples in May, 2009.

From Fernandina on A1A through Yulee to Callahan.

Then on US-301 through Starke and Waldo to Orange Heights.

Then west on SR-26 to SR-234.

South on 234 through Windsor past SR-20 to US-441 near Micanopy.

South on US-441 to Ocala with side trip to Mike's Fish Camp on Orange Lake.

From Ocala, south on CR-475 under I-75 to SR-44.

Sr-44 to Inverness.

South from Inverness on Old Floral City Road.

Then parallel Withlacoochee trail on SR-39 to Istachatta and CR-476.

Then west on CR-476 to US-41 and south into Brooksville.

Then west on Sr-50 to Suncoast Parkway, south thru Tampa, St. Pete, then over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge through Bradenton,Sarasota and onto I-75 to Naples.
