My father's late cousin, Virginia, was born in Mt Dora and went to elementary and high school there before graduating from the University of Florida.
She spent her adult life in Chicago as a mother and teacher, and retired to Mt Dora to enjoy the best years of her life as an active retiree.
She loved art, antiques and stately trees, so felt right at home in her old home town.
