Pine Knoll Winery
Pine Knoll Winery bills itself as a "boutique" winery. One dictionary definition of boutique is any "small, exclusive business offering customized service". This winery certainly qualifies for this distinction. They produce a small amount of wine each year, but what they do produce has been carefully prepared from the finest grapes.
The mission of this winery is to come up with the best possible wine made from Florida Muscadine grapes.The grapes are grown in their local vineyard, and they use a proprietary cold process to make their wine. They blend 5 different varieties of Muscadine, and also a Cabernet Sauvignon. This results in 6 different types of wine. There should be something there to please everyone's tastes. They have complimentary wine tastings during business hours where you can try all of their wines.
They also sell wine making supplies so you can try your own hand at making fine wine. I like the setting of the winery in Homosassa. Homosassa is one of my favorite Florida places. It still has a lot of the Old Florida charm. HOURS OF OPERATION
