Wow! I'd Like To Live In Seaside

by Lawrence Andersen
(Bonita Springs, Florida)

This place is only 30 years old but looks like it's been there since America was a young country. The little cottages and houses are dripping with charm, and the whole place has an aura of well maintained Florida Cracker gentility.

I couldn't find a place I could afford to buy, but I can always hope my ship will come in someday. In the meantime, my wife and I will stay in our RV at nearby Grayton Beach State Park and visit Seaside every day.

Note from Florida Backroads Travel: Lawrence, if you and your wife made the RV trip to Grayton Beach, I hope you'll let us know about it by adding a comment. It surely is one of the nicest beaches in Florida.

We Made The Trip
by: Lawrence

We really enjoyed our RV visit to Grayton Beach State Park. The beach there is fabulous, and it's so close to that model of New Urbanism, Seaside, Florida.

It isn't much trouble to go west for awhile to Destin, either.
