Bill Brooks moved to Florida nearly 5 years ago and lives in Beverly Hills Florida. He mostly writes classic Westerns but also crime fiction.
His latest novel, Catch Me Kill Me has its setting in Miami. So he's getting there as a Florida author.
The main character is a Miami police detective who on his last hours of duty before he retires, catches a multiple homicide and one of the dead is his ex-wife's brother, so he can't exactly retire as he hoped.
Bill has written more than 40 novels of historical fiction, including Frontier Fiction, the tale of Tom Dooley, An American Tragedy and others.
Our Facebook page has more than 77,100 followers who love off the beaten path Florida: towns, tourist attractions, back road maps, lodging, festivals, highway maps, scenic road trips, day trips, history, culture, nostalgia, and more.
