Bobalu's specializes in seafood and also has a wide variety of southern style food. The have fried shrimp, home made conch fritters, pizzas, all kinds of pizzas. You can have them cook your catch, and they have good old southern veggies like greens, squash, mashed potatoes, southern fried okra, chicken tenders, wings, and more. They even have grilled liver and onions, meatloaf, and many sandwiches.
Add all this to a full service bar and a backyard patio and you have a winner.

This nice restaurant is stuffed with antique furnishings and good food in downtown Williston, Florida. The menu is loaded up with good southern fare including cheese grits and the speciality of the house, Krispy Baked Chicken. Good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Prices are reasonable.

Located in Fellsmere near Blue Cypress and between the old citrus lands on Indian River.
You will find The best in true old florida cracker cooking. From grits and steak to frog legs and swamp cabbage. With weekly bluegrass jams and walls and tables are covered in local history and nostalgia.
This feel good places reminds of calmer times and full bellies. Cant be beat.

This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
They serve the Critter Platter which includes frog legs and alligator tail. They also serve swamp cabbage soup, another Florida delicacy.
I prefer swamp cabbage to be thicker, not like their soup, but it's rare to even see it on a menu.
If you're lucky you'll be there on Bluegrass Night and hear the live band play during dinner.
