Tennessee Williams was a playwright who spent many years living in Key West. He lived from 1911-1983.

Among his work is"

"The Glass Menagerie" in 1945,

"A Streetcard Named Desire" in 1947 which won him the Pulitzer Prize

and many other poems and plays.
