Isaac Bashevis Singer
Isaac Bashevis Singer lived from 1902 to 1991. He was a Polish-American author who wrote only in Yiddish. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1978.He and his wife moved to Surfside, Florida north of Miami Beach in their senior years. A street in Surfide is named for him: "Isaac Singer Boulevard".
