I roam around Florida in my 2005 Lexus SC430 and would like to connect with other SC owners in the state.  My goal is to have a group to swap information with and go on occasional short road trips.

The Story of My 2005 Lexus SC430

I bought my car in February 2026 and it had about 78,000 miles on the odometer. It was a one owner car; an elderly lady who had bought it brand new at Lexus of Southampton in New York. She was having a hard time getting in and out and wanted a larger car.

She had the car transported by truck every year from Southampton to her home in Sarasota. It was always garaged and covered at both homes during her ownership. When in Florida she had it serviced at Lexus of Sarasota.

It was the newest looking used car I had ever seen, so I bought it within minutes of first seeing it.

An inspection a few days later at Lexus of Orlando revealed the car was in perfect condition. I went ahead anyway and replaced the timing belt, water pump, and associated assembly because this car will be my daily driver as long as I am able.
