Lippincott Mansion, also known as Melrose Hall, is a historic building in Ormond Beach, Florida.
The three-story structure stands at 150 South Beach Street. It features a curved tower and eclectic architecture.
Built in 1895, it reflects the area's early settlement. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
Anne Lippincott commissioned the mansion in 1895. She sold it to her sister Harriet soon after it was completed.
The 9,000-square-foot home mixes Queen Anne and Romanesque styles. William Scobie bought it in 1899 and renamed it Melrose Hall.
The Lippincott family has ties to early Ormond Beach pioneers. The town, originally New Britain, became Ormond in 1880.
Wealthy Northerners, including John D. Rockefeller, built winter homes here during Florida's land boom. The mansion served as a residence and office. It stands amid other historic sites like Rockefeller's home, The Casements.
